The Financial Advising Industry is Growing

If you’re looking for a fulfilling career that enables you to problem-solve, counsel, and help make exciting plans for the future, all with the support of a team multi-disciplinary professionals, then look no further.

The industry of investment advising is booming!

According to a recent report from Investment Adviser Association, the number of fiduciary advisory firms in the country hit a record high of 15,144 last year – an increase of 2.2%. Assets and client numbers are down from the previous year, but this is largely the result of stock and bond markets. Despite this, the numbers are still up from a few years ago.

Advisors managed $114.1 trillion in 2021, versus only $83.7 trillion in 2018.

There is a similar pattern with regard to client numbers. In 2021, there were 64.7 million groups or individuals who met with financial advisors, whereas last year, there were 61.9 million. However, both numbers are far above 43.6 million, which was the figure in 2018.

Advisory firms, in general, have also increased exponentially. The financial advising industry (including advisors) has grown by 16.5% over the last five years with a jump from 12,993 firms in 2018 to 15,144 last year.

There are more opportunities than ever to find work as a financial advisor and good job security for the future! If you’d like to explore those opportunities for a different career path, contact Ambassador Advisors today to begin your new adventure.
