Jo enjoys building relationships with her teammates and growing in her responsibilities.
Family & Hobbies
Jo has lived in six states. She and her husband of over thirty years enjoyed raising two daughters in Lancaster County and are now “empty nesters.” The youngest daughter works as an artist at Sight & Sound Theater, and the oldest is married to an Airman (with two baby girls) currently in Omaha, NE. Jo enjoys being a “Grammie,” reading, writing articles, music, used to teach dance, Bible study, seeking God in journaling, football season, hot Buffalo wings, crocheting, and praying for friends. Jo’s family attends Ephrata Community Church where she and her husband serve in the café and participate in classes offered that help grow their faith. Jo praises God for surviving cancer in 2021!
Education & Experience
Jo earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Marketing at SUNY Plattsburgh in Upstate New York. She has held several types of office jobs from secretarial to management. In addition to her role with Ambassador Advisors, she often takes on freelance work writing blog articles, editing, and constructing social media posts for a digital media company in Virginia Beach. She is currently writing a book on her God experiences through cancer.
Community Involvement
Jo plans to spend time with She’s Somebody’s Daughter, an organization that rescues the vulnerable from human trafficking. As more exposure to this topic arises, there are more opportunities to seize.
Why I like working at Ambassador Advisors…
Jo is impressed with the quality of coworkers around her. They are constantly helping each other out and genuinely enjoying life together. She is enjoying the daily challenges of growing in her new role.
