NONPR OFIT n Have you reached the point in life when you
realize you’re not a rookie anymore? You may be at the peak of your game, or you may be looking back as a “Hall of Fame” retiree. Either way, you recognize that your experience places you past life’s first inning.

Your current priorities will always be based on your life circumstances, but the deeper into the game you go, the more your long-term goals will probably focus on security and sustainability for those you cherish. In the later innings of life, God often moves a person’s heart to give more joyfully to His Kingdom. How can you prepare for each stage of life, whether you are just surviving, pursuing success, or ready to find significance?
Ambassador Advisors is pleased to introduce Finding Significance in this Season of Life, a financial workshop for churches designed to equip each person to be a wise steward of God’s resources. Tis six-session workshop, led by an
Ambassador Advisors financial professional, will equip congregations with practical tools to be wise stewards. With flexible scheduling options to present weekly sessions, multiple workshops, or a single-day event, Ambassador Advisors can offer advice and guidance for stewarding financial resources.
THE WORKSHOP COVERS SIX OF THE MOST CRITICAL AREAS FOR FINANCIAL WISDOM:
BIBLICAL FINANCIAL PRINCIPLES
You can’t throw the first pitch without understanding that God is the owner of everything. With this as the basis for all our learning, we next recognize that it is God who grants us our money- making skills and determines how much of his wealth he will entrust to us. From there, we look at the goodness of wealth compared to the seduction of wealth, and study what Jesus has to say about possessions, wealth, and giving.
INSURANCE
When it comes to insurance, it’s all about protecting those we love. We’ll study what various types of insurance exist, their benefits, and the answers to common questions such as, “How much insurance do I need?” We’ll look at life, death, disability and the best ways to protect your dreams for the future.
INVESTMENTS
Starting with Jesus’s parable of the talents in Matthew 4, we’ll play catch with ideas for how to “invest.” We’ll study basic investment vehicles, look at investment risk, introduce the concept
of diversification, and review some fundamental investment practices that help protect and accumulate wealth.
COLLEGE & RETIREMENT PLANNING
Just like your favorite baseball mitt, a college or retirement savings plan must fit you and your personal circumstances with precision if it’s going to perform optimally. We’ll study the realities of retirement, such as taxes, interest rates, life expectancy, Social Security, and market volatility. Taking into account the four financial life stages of build, protect, enjoy, and give, we’ll look at ways to make the most of your retirement income.
LEAVING A LEGACY Tis session will help you prepare to avoid three key legacy strike-outs: long- term illness, lack of communication, and taxes. We’ll review ways to prepare for incapacitation and distribution techniques to help you protect your family, even after you are gone, through various techniques like trusts. Finally, we’ll consider ways to avoid giving Caesar more than his “due” by setting up your legacy using tax-wise strategies.
FAMILY LEGACY JOURNEY
We close out the game by learning about the key ways to communicate your legacy wishes. First, implementing stewardship during your lifetime. Second, preparing for an optimal distribution of your wealth upon your death. Finally, planning now to avoid strike-outs later. Learn about an ethical will and how to pass on critical information to your family using our Family Legacy Journey process.
I’ve been blessed to watch God conform the hearts of many people to trust Him more with every aspect of their life, including the finances He has given them to manage. By the bottom of the ninth, they stand with open hearts and hands, wanting to leave behind financial blessings that sustain God’s work.
In the game of your life, “batting a thousand” means leaving a lasting legacy with those you cherish. Te financial planning that you do today affects your family—as well as those charities close to your heart tomorrow. Ambassador Advisors’ new Finding Significance course can help you craft strategies to succeed in life’s long innings.
